Who We Are

Main Sectors of Intervention

1-EDUCATION SECTOR:
LSR is the only organization in the Jbeil district officially authorized by the Ministry of Education to conduct tailored awareness sessions in public schools. Topics include:

  • Anti-bullying

  • Mental health and emotional well-being

  • Self-esteem and social inclusion

  • Digital safety

  • Non-violance and peacebuilding

2-PROTECTION SECTOR:
LSR implements its protection strategy through three dedicated committees:

  • Child Protection Committee
    Organizes educational, recreational, and psychological support activities (PSS,PFA) for children.

  • Women’s Committe
    Empowers women through skill-building, GBV awarness session, and targeted initiatives for social and economic inclusion.

3-FOOD SECURITY SECTOR:
Pre-War:
Distributed food parcels to vulnerable families.

During War (SEPT. 2024): In partnership with World Central Kitchen and Sawa Blessed for Development and Aid, LSR launched a community kitchen in Jbeil to serve displaced families.

Post-War: LSR continues operating its central kitchen to serve vulnerable residents, maintaining food access as a key pillar of it’s mission.
